Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) - Engineering Study for Cave Avenue and Fickas Road

Owner - Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (Evansville, IN)

Prepared a Sanitary Sewer Needs Assessment for the areas of Cave Avenue and Fickas Road and evaluated the feasibility of bringing gravity sewers to these areas.  Prepared preliminary design alternatives consisting of approximately 9,000 LF and 4,000 LF of proposed sanitary sewers for Cave Avenue and Fickas Road, respectively.  The engineering study included the Definition of Needs Assessment Areas, Description of Project Need, Survey Project Areas, Development of Proposed Alternatives, Recommendation of Alternative and Opinions of Probable Cost, Research and Recommend Funding Options, Research Permits and Schedule, Conclusion Development and Preparation of Supporting documents.

Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (EWSU) - City of Evansville Septic Site Study

Owner - Evansville Water and Sewer Utility (Evansville, IN)

Prepared a study to identify the location and condition of septic sites within the Evansville city limits.  A GIS based priority ranking methodology was applied to septic sites and/or neighborhood clusters of septic sites to plan for sewer extensions and effective removal of septic systems.  The scope included GIS based mapping and proximity analysis showing the distribution of septic vs. sewer in the City of Evansville, with informative base map overlays.  GIS mapping layers were developed.  The study also included a report along with priority ranking to bring sewer service to the identified septic sites.  The study will be used for planning efforts to assist decision makers and staff to formulate more detailed plans and action items.
