Downtown Evansville Green Infrastructure Evaluation

Powers Engineering was responsible for the SWMM modeling for the development of green infrastructure in the downtown combined sewer system. The project included reviewing plans for approximately $12M of green infrastructure projects and determining the appropriate LID input parameters. Once the effectiveness of the completed projects was established, additional green infrastructure scenarios for up to $72M in additional potential projects were simulated based on completed projects.
