
Evansville West WWTP Expansion

Provided full-time RPR services during the construction to expand the peak wet weather capacity of the existing West Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) from 40 MGD to 45 MGD. The scope also included the construction of a 6.1 MG CSO Equalization Storage Basin upstream of the WWTP. The plant expansion work included: Modifications to the Main Building, Influent Pump Station, and Effluent Pump Station; New Grit Removal & Handling Facilities; Conversion of the Chlorine Contact Tank to an Ultraviolet (UV) Disinfection Facility; New Chemical Phosphorus Removal System; Expansion of the existing Biological Aerated Filtration System; Laboratory modifications; A new High-Pressure Plant Water Pump Station; Addition of a new effluent sewer; and miscellaneous site improvements throughout the entire facility.
